This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines the processes, timelines, and costs associated with getting your order from our warehouse to your doorstep. Please read this policy carefully to understand your shipping options and what to expect after you place an order.

2. Processing Time

All our products are carefully handpicked and stored in our centralized warehouse. Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, our team will conduct a quality check, carefully pack your items, and prepare them for shipment.

  • Standard Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Hong Kong).
  • Peak Season Delays: Please note that during peak seasons (such as holidays, Black Friday, or New Year sales), processing times may be slightly extended. We will make every effort to communicate any potential delays via email.

3. Shipping Destinations & Methods

We are proud to offer international shipping to a wide range of countries from our operational base in Hong Kong. Our primary shipping partners include reliable global carriers such as DHL, FedEx, and EMS/Hong Kong Post, chosen for their speed and tracking reliability.

At checkout, you will be presented with available shipping methods and their associated costs and estimated delivery times for your specific destination.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on several factors, including:

  • The shipping destination.
  • The weight and dimensions of your package.
  • The selected shipping speed.

The final shipping cost will be displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase. We may occasionally offer free standard shipping on orders that meet a minimum value, which will be prominently advertised on our website.

5. Estimated Delivery Times

Local Delivery: The delivery of Products to local addresses within the territory where the Company operates shall be completed within 2 to 6 business days from the date on which the Order is confirmed and the full payment is received by the Company. Business days here refer to regular working days excluding weekends and statutory public holidays.

International Delivery: For orders shipped to addresses outside the aforesaid territory, the delivery period shall be 4 to 8 business days, calculated from the date of the Order’s dispatch from the Company’s warehouse. This timeframe excludes any delays arising from customs clearance procedures, international transportation disruptions, or force majeure events beyond the Company’s reasonable control. The Company shall make reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery but shall not be liable for delays caused by factors outside its direct management.

6. Order Tracking

As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website. You can use this to monitor your package’s journey in real-time.

7. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

As an international customer, you are the importer of record for your order.

  • Important: All orders shipped outside of Hong Kong may be subject to import duties, taxes (such as VAT or GST), and customs clearance fees. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping cost paid to SylkScribe.
  • We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be. For more information, please contact your local customs office.
  • Please note that refusal to pay these charges may result in your order being returned to us or abandoned, and we cannot issue a refund for orders lost or returned for this reason.

8. Delivery Issues & Failed Deliveries

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address provided is complete and accurate. We ship to the address provided at checkout and cannot be held responsible for packages shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer.

  • Failed Deliveries: If a delivery attempt fails (e.g., no one is available to sign, address is incorrect), the carrier will typically leave a notice and hold the package at a local depot for a limited time. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions on the notice to arrange for redelivery or pickup. Packages that are not collected and are returned to us as undeliverable will be eligible for a refund for the product cost, minus the original outbound and return shipping costs.

9. P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses

We can ship to P.O. Boxes using standard postal services, but express courier options (like DHL/FedEx) typically require a physical street address. We are happy to ship to APO/FPO addresses for our military customers; please allow additional time for transit.
